Providing comprehensive, professional solutions since 1984, Fisher Associates, P.E., L.S., P.C. delivers services for site/civil engineering, transportation engineering, structural engineering, environmental services, surveying services, and construction representation. These complementary services enable us to offer a complete approach to any site project we encounter.

As a full service Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) design firm, Fisher Associates continues to consistently meet the demands of our state, municipal and private industry clients.  With offices in Rochester, Syracuse, and Buffalo, New York, we have over 80 full-time employees that comprise our technical and administrative forces.

Hiking trails are very popular and Fisher Associates has been retained to design many, including the Keuka Outlet Trail.   Although the basics of the six-mile long trail have been in place for years, extensive upgrades are required to improve the stability and safety of the trail.  Multiple sections of the trail have been eroded by the nearby stream and off-site runoff, while other areas need basic repairs and safety railings added along high bank areas.  Fisher Associates has been retained to address these concerns, as well as to stabilize eroded sections with heavy stone fill and to replace cross culverts with stabilized outlets.   Fisher Associates also conducted a Phase IA and IB Cultural Resource investigation of approximately 1.7 miles of the Trail as part of their program to restore and upgrade the Trail and associated resources in the National Register listed Crook Lake Canal Historic District.  This included archaeological investigation at two of the NR-listed mills sites—Seneca Mill (c. 1790-1884) and Foxs Mill (c. 1823-1946), the Fall Brook Railroad line (c. 1884-1981) and the Crooked Lake Canal (c. 1831-1878).  Fisher Associates is working with multiple agencies, including the Yates County Economic Development, NYSDOT, NYSDEC and Army Corp of Engineers to attain the necessary approvals and grant reimbursements.
